Privacy Policy

Photos and AI Generation

When you sign in and request a hairstyle generation using credits, your photo is sent to our server and then to kie.ai, a third-party AI processor, to generate your looks. Only upload photos you have permission to use. We store source photos and generated images in Cloudflare R2 and link them to your account so you can compare, download, reuse, or delete them from My Looks. kie.ai processes the photo to provide the requested hairstyle edit; its processing is subject to its own privacy practices.

The guest preview is your own photo, blurred with an illustrative hairstyle overlay. It is not an AI-generated result, and showing this preview does not send your photo to our server or to kie.ai. If you continue to sign-in or checkout, we save your pending photo and style choices locally in your browser so you can resume afterward.

Face-shape analysis runs in your browser without requiring an account. It does not upload your photo or facial landmarks to our server or to kie.ai. We also use browser-based facial landmarks to align generated results with your original photo and check for changes to facial proportions. These landmarks are not stored on our server.

Accounts and Service Data

You can create an account using Google sign-in or email through better-auth. We store account information, including your email and authentication records, in Cloudflare D1. We also keep generation records, credit balances, subscription information, and order records needed to operate the service.

Payments and Credits

Payments are processed through Stripe Checkout. We do not store card numbers. We keep payment references and purchase information to manage credit packs and subscriptions. Each successfully generated look uses 1 credit; failed generations do not use credits. One automatic retry for a detected change in facial proportions is included at no additional credit. Subscriptions provide credits according to the selected plan.

Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies to maintain sign-in and preferences. When configured, Google Analytics helps us understand service usage. Where cookie consent is enabled, analytics storage follows your consent choice.

Sharing and Protection

We use kie.ai for AI processing, Cloudflare R2 for generated images, Cloudflare D1 for account and service data, Google for Google sign-in, and Stripe for checkout. These providers process the information needed for their respective functions. We may also disclose information where required by law or to address abuse. We do not sell your photos or personal information.

We use access controls and secure connections to protect data. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and Deletion

For accounts that have never made a payment, our stored source photos, generated images, and associated image records are automatically deleted after 24 hours. For accounts that have made a payment, we keep these images until you delete them. You can delete a look from My Looks, which removes its stored source and result images and its image record. Deleting an image does not remove payment or credit records needed to operate the service.

To request access, correction, or deletion of your account or other personal data, email support@hairchangerai.com. We may need to verify account ownership and retain records required for legal, payment, or fraud-prevention obligations. Our image retention schedule applies to our Cloudflare storage; contact us with questions about requests involving third-party processing.
